Do you ever wonder how large events are put on with a small staff? Are you amazed that everything falls into place for an event? The answer is our volunteers and sponsors. We wouldn't be able to put on an event without them. And we would love to have you join our team.

Hot Shots is a tremendous event that draws several thousand people to the Sozo Sports Facility over a two-day period. This is a great opportunity for your business to join the lineup of companies that make this event possible.

Reach out to local residents as well as out-of-town visitors who participate as players and spectators at Hot Shots.

Almost all sponsors get a free entry into Hot Shots and great visibility to sports fans with disposable income. In addition, your sponsorship participation supports a local non-profit organization.

VOLUNTEERS

The commitment and service of local volunteers is the key to sustaining Yakima Hot Shots. Join the group of people who make Hot Shots a great experience for everyone.

If you're basketball savvy and can supervise a court or officiate youth games, you can take part in the festivities as a court monitor. A court monitor must be willing to learn the rules of Hot Shots and enforce them during the competition. Court monitors must agree to go through a brief training seminar. Court monitors will receive special event gear.

If being a court monitor isn't what you are looking for opportunities exist with registration, souvenirs, results, set-up, tear down courts and other duties. You don't have to be a basketball expert to help with Hot Shots.
